Managing The Environment To Support Block Play
In this short video, we look at the importance of supporting children’s physical and emotional needs in the block play environment.
It’s important for caregivers to work to meet children’s physical and emotional needs by creating thoughtful play environments. Throwing is the example used in the video, but all kinds of child actions and behaviors are impacted by the environments we adults create. A willingness/ability to tweak the environment based on the needs of the children using the space is a valuable skills.
